Hip-Hop and Social Justice with Innocence Project Ambassador Silent Knight

Hip-Hop Can Save America podcast livestream

Silent Knight is an independent Hip-Hop artist with a long catalog of releases as a solo artist, as well as the frontman for acclaimed fusion band, The Band Called FUSE. In addition, he serves as the artist-in-residence for multiple award-winning social justice journalism podcast, News Beat. Through that partnership, SK was introduced to the Innocence Project, and was invited by the organization to join the ranks of celebrities and artists as an Innocence Project ambassador.

This episode was the first in a month-long series of livestream episodes of Hip-Hop Can Save America!, in which Manny Faces led a series of interviews to explore innovative, inspiring, and sometimes surprising ways that Hip-Hop music & culture are uplifting and improving humanity — in areas such as education, science & technology, health & wellness, social justice, the fine arts, and much more.
