On this episode of Hip-Hop Can Save America!, aka, ‘the world’s smartest Hip-Hop podcast,” we go around the world in about 45 minutes with internationally established educator, choreographer, cultural preservationist and director of the acclaimed international arts diplomacy program Next Level, Junious Brickhouse.
Peace and love, friends, neighbors, supporters and hater, welcome back to Hip-Hop Can Save America! aka the world’s smartest Hip-Hop podcast. Long time listeners will remember being introduced to Mark Katz who at the time ran the Next Level program out of the U.S. State department that all sorts of Hip-Hop teaching artists around the world as part of a cultural and artistic exchange — well, since then, the program has transferred leadership to today’s guest Junious Brickhouse, who not only helms the program, but does a ton more to uplift humanity through Hip-Hop. I’m thrilled we finally got a chance to kick it.
Before we get into it, a quick rundown for first timers and reminders for the regulars.
